Adventure 3- Back to Zero
[Shirahoshi's been having bad dreams. Scary dreams. Dreams of being hurt and people talking and doing things to her and it makes her feel sick to her stomach. In the dreams, she wonders if she's losing something of herself, or betraying some sort of trust she'd been given. But now, waking up, she isn't sure what that trust would even be, or why she's even wondering about it.
The feeling lingers though. It makes her uncomfortable even as she blinks open her eyes.
And the world around her is HUGE. She must have been taken somewhere else again, because Luceti did not tower over her like this even though it was intimidating at first. There are massive houses, bigger than the castle in some ways. And the people! They must be giants! Some of them even tower over her, and no one has ever done that before.
But if she's been moved, that means she isn't where Luffy-sama and the others are anymore either. Even the new friends she met, who knows where they'd be? She's all alone again, though she has her journal and the bubbly coral. Shirahoshi doesn't think to check on them yet. She's too busy panicking to notice that the fountain behind her looks just the same as the one in Luceti, or that the buildings have exactly the same facades.
Someone please come comfort her as she breaks down in normal, human-sized mermaid tears.]

[The disappointment in her voice is so thick that even one such as Spock could recognize it for what it is. But she brightens a little when he asks her name.]
I'm Sh- Shirahoshi. What's your name?

Are you content to stay in the fountain, or would you care for me to locate you elsewhere?
[Spock was concerned... this being was very upset. The very air around her was saturated with fear, confusion, and sadness...]

Um... is she actually 'in' the fountain, or is she a mermaid that's now walking around... XD
I hope that will suffice.
Awww, she gets to be Officer Shirahoshi for a little bit!
[Shirahoshi takes the shirt and moves it around uncertainly in her hands. She's never worn something like this before, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out... right? He was just wearing it, after all. She finds the bottom of the shirt first, and holds it up above her head. But the rest of the shirt flops over.]
Um... th- that's very kind of you...
[Maybe it goes the other way. Shirahoshi finds the hole in the top of the shirt and spreads it out with her hands. After almost putting her face into it, she realizes that method won't work right either. Her cheeks blush a little bit. She's being so rude, and he was so kind.]
Er, I...
[She decides to give it one more try, but can't decide what other angle there might be. It wouldn't do any good to start by putting her arms into the arm holes, it'd just end up backwards like the other ways. Small tears of frustration form at the corners of her eyes.]
I'm sorry to be so rude, Spock-sama but... D- do you think you could help me put it on?
[The blush is a deep red now.]
Gah! You are too cute for your own good! XDD
He gestures for her to lean forward...]
Thank you! It works best when I have willing victims OOPS I MEAN SHHH... >.>
>.> You're not a siren are you? XDDD
Spock stands straightens once more.]
Is that acceptable Miss Shirahoshi?
Come into the water, Spock, and maybe you'll find out~ ;3
It kind of tickles.
[But she breaks out into a thankful grin.]
Oh! But yes, it's very warm, thank you!
....oh dear. XD
Thanks are unnecessary Miss.
Do you know where you are?

Re: \o/
And as far as I am aware, it remains the same size. Perhaps you have changed? You were recently captured by the Malnosso correct?
[Spock's face was showing some concern...]

[The answer is a definite yes.]
It's so confusing with all the dreams in my head!
<3
[Spock says this as he sits down beside Shirahoshi, his tone gentle...]

[Her words get faster and faster as she goes, until she puts her hands over her face, making a sound of sheer frustration, mixed with crying.]
But that wasn't all at once. It was. Different ones. And then I woke up here.
[She dabs at her eyes with her hands, trying to clear the blurriness. She'd promised to not be such a crybaby. She's trying hard not to be.]
Do you know a lot about dreams, Spock-sama?
no subject
Vulcan's do not dream... my knowledge of them is very limited. However, I am wondering if your 'dreams' are actually memories.
Are you experiencing any pain?

...is there someone I can contact for you Miss Shirahoshi?

[Where else would she live?]

For now would you be amenable to allowing me to escort you to my own home until I can make other arrangements?

[She looks up at the housing tower.]
You don't live in that, do you?

[Shirahoshi has no idea how one goes about procuring a house for oneself. So this is very helpful, yes.]
Who would be most likely to come get you? XD
