[After her last post, Shirahoshi spent a few nights at Spock's house while Spock stayed with Lupin. She could tell the arrangement made Spock uncomfortable, though, and so she talked herself into being brave and found herself an apartment of her own. She's been enjoying the view from the eighth floor of Community Housing 3 ever since, though sometimes she has to remind herself that she can leave whenever she wants.

Today is one of those days.

Everything seemed to be back to normal- by Luceti standards, at any rate- and Shirahoshi wanted to explore a little. So she bundles herself up, inflates a new bubble from her coral, and floats down to the ground floor. The trees above make a kind of tinkling noise, covered as they are in icicles and snow. It draws her in, and she floats quietly through the forest, gaping in awe. It's unlike anything she's ever dreamed of. There are a few critters still skittering about in the snow, and whenever she hears or catches them out of the corner of her eye it makes her heart nearly stop. But after a few minutes she's grinning, because this is adventure and she can't seem to get enough of it.

Until sometime in the afternoon, when the shadows have begun to stretch in winter's pale sunlight. Her stomach growls, and she realizes with a start that she's very cold, very hungry, and very, distinctly, lost.]

[The video starts with a sniffle. She's not crying, for once. She's just been out in the cold for awhile.]

Um... D- does anyone know the woods really well? I think I'm lost...

[Lee is already running and shouting into his journal.]

Let me find you!

... Okay. Do I need to do anything?

Rotate your journal around in a 360 degree angle and remain stationary! I shall know everything I need to just from that!

[She lifts the journal and turns in a circle. The video shows a nice shot of her neck, shoulder, and hair.]

Is that what you wanted me to do, Rock Lee-sama?

Ah - no, Shirahoshi-sama! A misunderstanding is at work here! Please, rotate it while the journal is facing away from you! That way I can see all of your surroundings!

Oh! Why didn't you just ask me to show you the forest first?

[She does it right this time, though. It's pretty nondescript forest.]

[But Lee is able to take not of some minor details and adjusts his route based on his best guess.]

I was not as clear as I should have been, that is all! It might also be helpful if you could show me the sky.

You can tell where I am based on the sky?

[That's pretty cool! Shirahoshi holds the camera portion of the journal up towards the sky.]

Not entirely, but it helps me to pinpoint your location judging by the formations of the clouds and your position relative to the setting sun! It is true that my companions are the ones who specialize in tracking, but I hope I am up to this task, myself!

[He adjusts his path again and begins hopping between trees in the direction that she seems to be located in.]

That sounds like a lot to watch for.

[A few seconds later, the journal picks up a rustling sound, and Shirahoshi lets out a loud scream, then drops the journal.]

SHIRAHOSHI-SAMAAAAAAAAAAAA!

[He cries out into the journal and accelerates, bouncing off of trees at a desperate speed to try to reach her.]

[Well, at least her scream was probably loud enough he could tell if he's going in the right direction or not...

A minute later she re-appears in a video feed, blushing furiously.]

I'm sorry if I startled you, Rock Lee-sama. I um. There was an animal... B-but the animal ran away, so I'm okay.

[Indeed it is. Lee's direction was only a little off. He quickly adjusts it and goes in the direction of the scream, probably passing the fleeing raccoon in the process.]

You are not being assaulted in any way? This is an inestimable relief on my heart, Shirahoshi-sama! But worry not... I shall soon be arriving by your location by the time I finish this-

[And then he will be dashing through the same bush the raccoon had come from.]

-sentence!

[She was kind of ready for it, since he was talking to her. But he moved so quickly and quietly! It takes Shirahoshi by surprise, and she kicks herself back defensively, letting out a small shriek. Then she giggles, holding her hand over her heart.]

You startled me, Rock Lee-sama!

[He comes to a neat halt, but he himself cringes at her shriek and plants himself on the ground with apologetic bows.]

I am so sorry, Shirahoshi-sama! I was so concerned for your wellbeing, that Id did not realize that I could distress you further!

[She's still giggling, embarrassed.]

It's okay. Um. Thank you for finding me! Do you know the way back?

I- [He stops and gets up to take a look around, back towards the way he came.] I believe so!

[He then kneels forward.] Would you like me to carry you back?

[Shirahoshi looks down at her floating bubble.]

Er, no, that's okay. It'll help me get stronger if I go on my own.

[He straightens himself up and gives a thumbs up.]

That is a most excellent strategy, Shirahoshi-sama! One can always use improvement in the area of strength. I shall merely guide you back the way I came!

Mm! That would be wonderful!

[She tucks her journal into her coat and nods, ready to go.]

Very well! Then... please, follow me!

[He begins to trot forward oddly, like jogging in slow motion, clearly putting maximum effort into each step.]

Also, please feel free to make suggestions as to the appropriate speed I should move at!

[Shirahoshi watches the odd gait for awhile. What a funny guy! She giggles again.]

We could probably go a little bit faster, if you want to. I just have to be careful that my bubble doesn't get popped.

I see. [He begins slowly moving faster.] Tell me to stop when I have reached a most compatible velocity! The last thing I would like to do would be to burst your bubble.

[She hovers up and down a bit before finding that clear area where undergrowth doesn't reach but branches don't invade, and shoots forward, laughing.]

Ack!

[And Lee darts forward, eager to catch up.]
