Adventure 1- The Surface [Action]
[Anyone in the area of Luceti's beach has probably just heard an ear-splitting, sonic screech. The astute observer (or, even the non-astute observer) may notice uncharacteristically large waves breaking up on the beach. For any curious enough, if they look out to sea, they'll notice something spectacular. A large pink mermaid is splashing about, swimming quickly one direction, then crying out- much more quietly now- and changing directions suddenly. She does this a number of times, then dives deep, only to surface a few minutes later, looking for all the world like she's trying to beat the world record for "longest surface jump made by a fish". Whatever her goal is, she doesn't appear to be achieving it, because the process repeats itself over and over.
Those with extremely good eyesight, or who are brave (or stupid) enough to try getting closer may notice a bit of flotsam trailing along behind her.
A Malnosso-issued journal.]

[Voice]
[Is that...?]
[No way, she'd still be a child, right?]
[Oh but it has been two years for the Straw Hats so it could be... Nah. That's absurd. Then again, he can't think of any other giant mermaids. Oh King Neptune, your line is so... something.]
[............ Wow, she's still going at it? Dear god that's deafening.]
Miss! Miss! Please try to stop screaming, it'll be okay. What's wrong? [He's not sure yelling into the journal will help though, so he tucks his own in his sash, and takes off flying to go see for himself.]
[Action]
I... I already told you you're not my type!
[SMACK! She bats it away with her fin. The journal goes flying, its pages fanning out before it splashes back into the water. The journal is a-trollin', so actually there's something of a video feed. A nice, calm underwater scene, panning quickly across the viewer.]
[Action]
He lands on the beach, a safe enough distance from the waves so they won't touch his feet. Because screw ocean water, that's why. He switches back to human and looks up with some concern.]
Are you Neptune's daughter? [OBVIOUSLY a reasonable way to greet someone new, but he's trying to snap her out of it without scaring her.]

There's a lot of force in that fin, and when she launched the journal into the air, it displaced a lot of water, too. Now there's a good sized wave heading toward the shore. Right towards Cyborg.]

Hey! Hey! You'll lose your journal!
[Action]
Then in an instant, there's a clear shot of part of a fin, the pink veining caught in stark contrast to the ocean blue. There's a loud POP! and the video goes spiraling. It stops in the water, returning to the previous sea-floor programming.]

...okay, this could be problematic.]

[It seems the water-dwelling human has mastered the Royal Canterlot Voice! Or rather, she was doing splendidly, but seems a bit winded at this point. The dark-colored alicorn merely stands there blinking unconcernedly, waves lapping at her hooves.]

Re: [Action]
[Oh. OH!!]
[Not particularly wanting to go for a swim, Luna whips out her wings and attempts to fly above the churning crest. The water glances off her hindlegs, causing the winged animal to veer dangerously and nearly plummet into the ocean before she manages to recover sufficiently. Her tail and back half are drenched, and she's visibly scowling by now, but otherwise she seems all right. Luna flaps there for a moment, trying to shake off the water (it's not very effective), before flying in closer.]
Good villager!! Forgive us, but we were wondering if thou wouldst kindly cease with thy wild thrashing?

Out here for reasons.
Actually he's out digging a fire pit so he can use it for a beach outing with Shiemi and Yukio later. Or well, he was, until that last wave crashes and floods the hole he was digging floods and the rocks he put in place there go washing out and... his sword which was on the ground next to him starts to get washed out to see.
His.
Sword.
he makes his own loud howl as he dives into the water, clothes (loose fitting, but still) and all to get it]

In the water.
Shirahoshi thinks she could be wrong, but she seems to remember something about humans not being able to stay in the water for very long.
Her own less-than-apparent danger forgotten, Shirahoshi speeds toward the human, arms outstretched to catch him and drag him back to safety.
She hasn't quite realized that she's been partially shrunk, so as she draws nearer, a look of surprise will cross her face. She's never seen a human that big before.]

Master, please don't start busting into song right now...!

[As much as he wanted to avoid it, he ends up getting washed away in it and riiight into the ocean. He knows how to swim, thankfully. Still has to recover from that brief moment of blacking out, though.]

Okay, nothing happened. That's good. Peeking her eyes open, Perona's just in time to see the...seaking? Is that a seaki--no, wait...it's more human like.]
M-Mermaid...?
[Action]
[Action]
Oh god oh man oh god, oh man.
With a very high-pitched screech, Perona practically dances away from the water, running as far up the sandy shore as she can to avoid the full force of the waves Shirahoshi created. She pants, hard, pale and terrified, and whimpers slightly. Th-That was...r-really scary... Did she make the mermaid angry or something? What was it even trying to do?]
O-OI!

And he just... stares. You'd think with his mermaid obsession, Sanji would be quicker to comprehend the situation, but nope. His brain is slow on the uptake even with a pretty, pink mermaid rolling huge waves through the sea - a very huge, very familiar pink mermaid.]
[Action]
Shirahoshi-chwaaaaaaaan~! [And then Sanji leaps out into the air, quite literally, dancing around in excitement even when he knows he should feel guilty being this happy.
Oh well. Squeeing first, guilt later. And now there's a mermaid princess to attend to]
